Estate Planning Resources

You already know that you need an estate plan, but you may need guidance to help figure out what combination of wills, trusts and other estate planning tools will suit you best. Also, there are a number of healthcare planning tools to consider as well to avoid having a guardianship imposed on you or forcing others in the difficult position of making life decisions on your behalf. Below are a handful of resources our estate planning attorneys have collected to help you understand wills and estates in Illinois and to know where to go for more information. To speak with an attorney about developing a comprehensive, customized estate plan tailored to your needs, contact Johnson, Westra, Broecker, Whittaker and Newitt at our offices in Carol Stream, St. Charles and Chicago.
