Megan G. Raymond

Megan is a long-time resident of DuPage County, having graduated from St. Francis High School, in Wheaton. She attended the University of Arizona, where she majored in Political Science. During her undergraduate studies, she received honors and awards of distinction. Megan was also selected for a legislative internship with U.S. Senator Jon Kyl.

At Michigan State University College of Law, Megan made the Dean’s List.  As a student clinician for the Housing Law Clinic, she represented low-income clients with complex landlord-tenant and foreclosure issues. She was a research assistant for Professor Brian Gilmore, head of the Housing Law Clinic. While at law school, she also participated in clubs such as the Christian Law Society and the Federalist Society. During an internship with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, she worked in the DUI courtroom, representing the State of Illinois pursuant to IL Sup. Ct. Rule 711.

Megan has over ten years of experience in both transactional law and litigation. Her focus is on real estate, estate planning, probate and family law. As a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association, she is an active member of the legal community. She is a court certified Guardian ad litem, who is appointed by the court to represent the best interest of minor children in legal proceedings.

Megan is an active member of her church, St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Wheaton. She is a mom to three strong-willed but very sweet toddlers, who are her greatest joy and her greatest challenge. In her limited free time, she loves spending time with her children, reading, health and wellness activities, trying new restaurants and studying the Bible.

Megan can converse in American Sign Language.
